Windows Vista's BitLocker feature could be the answer. Even better would you like help, guidance from technical experts at Microsoft (via email and telephone) for free AND free technical support? Sounds too good to be true? All we ask in return is that you share a story of your experience - we're not talking a case study here - this will just be a couple of paragraphs of how you got on. We are encouraging early adoption and seek to learn from your experience and share it with others.
We'll help you get a pilot up and running by sharing additional technical material and advice. Places are limited to ensure that we can provide the appropriate level of support to those involved. Please send an email to mailto://stephen.lamb@microsoft.com to get the show on the road.
We are also looking for people who'd like to pilot the following:
* secure Vista using Group Policy Objects
* use Network Access Protection to ensure machines comply with corporate policy
* Use Powershell to audit server configuration, manage logs or automate batch procedures
* deploy Microsoft Office Sharepoint Server 2007 either internally for search or externally to the Internet
* web infrastructure - running an internal or external web application on IIS7
* Virtualisation - deploy Virtual Server R2 SP1 or Windows Hypervisor
* High Performance Computing - scheduling jobs across multiple independent machines.
