Tiscali Broadband

At last I’m able to use Vista online, been waiting since Microsoft first launched Windows Vista (30th January 2007) to be able to use my main pc to logon and surf the net.

Finally www.tiscali.co.uk  has found it possible to provide drivers for their broadband modem service, available for download from their home page. (Not to good if you only have Vista.) After a quick phone call to their help- line, I was assured that they will provide CD-ROM based drivers if required free for customers, But if you will be using a 64bit version they will have to send you a whole new modem.

What is wrong with I.T companies at the moment?

From broadband and internet providers, to hardware and software developers,

ARE YOU ALL ASLEEP!

Windows Vista is the largest and most publicized operating system launch ever, with beta software around for well over a year plus. Were have you all been. Looks like you have all been napping. Where you all out there day dreaming hoping Microsoft’s Windows Vista would be a great big flop so you wouldn’t have to do any work and up date your products.

Waiting three months to solve driver issues is just not on. Has the fact that Windows Xp been the main stay for computers over the last six year had that bad an affect on us all, has development and ingenuity ground to a halt.

It seems to me we have all become complacent.
