    Vista's Sidebar

    Windows Vista’s Sidebar is a welcome and great newcomer to our desktops, offering us a great set of customized gadgets, with the likes of:-

     

    ·        Weather Forecasts

    ·        Calendar

    ·        Clock

    ·        Contacts

    ·        CPU Meter

    ·        Slideshow

     

    With many more gadgets available online, to check out the latest gadgets on offer visit:-

    To activate the Sidebar and have it grace your desktop do one the following: -

     

    • Right Click its little icon located in the taskbar’s Notification Area (next to the “time” bottom right of your screen).
    • Choose Open.
    • The Sidebar will then appear on your desktop

     Or

     

    • Click Start
    • In the Search box type Sidebar click Enter

     

    Once the Sidebar is running to view your collection of available gadgets:-

     

    • Click the “+” sign at the top of the Sidebar
    • Or right click a blank part of the Sidebar select Add Gadgets..
