Yeah I know, sad for replying to my own post.
It seems the locale is not used to determine if your in the right region it's the region info from your Live Passport. If you've not set anything (because you got the passport before it had such a setting) then it'll fail.

Ok Guys, how've you managed to signup for mesh? All i get is the https://www.mesh.com/Web/Error.aspx?msg=notOnAllowList& page telling me it's only available in the US.
