    I’ve just tried the evaluation version of WinZip 11 installed on 32bit version of Vista Home Premium and have successfully opened a good half dozen zipped files including a diver package for the Epson DX4800 all in one printer, scanner, fax.   So I’m guessing your right at it being a 64bit issue

    I’m hoping over time that Vistasquad will have its own list created from our members of tried and tested software, available for download with tips and suggestions.   So if any one is having trouble with software or sorted an issue out let us know.

    Which version of Mcafee did you try to install, I have only tested Enterprise 8i on Vista it had many issues mainly with I.E 7 so changed to AVG Free seems to work fine.     The only one I have come across so far is using Fireworks 8, it sends the GUI into Windows Vista basic mode untill you exit then it comes back to Aero. No fix yet may have to wait till they launch there next version.
